When we met him about two months ago, he was in rags, so malnourished, looked sad and less active for his age. Today, the ‘steel’ in his eyes, pep in his steps, and smile on his face speak of his wonderful transformation.
Jimmy, 8, is a first grader and a newly sponsored child who joined our sponsorship program in July this year. He also doubles up as a cousin to Michelle, Michael, Evans and Jayden who have long since been in the program.
Looking at him today, the ever mute, isolated, less active little guy has transformed in to a curious active child and when he is at play with his peers, he is so inseparable.
As his grandmother testifies, he is rapidly evolving and credits all of it to the love, compassion and help Give Amorehas brought his way. “It is like a veil was lifted and brought his good mood back… it’s so good to see him happy again,” asserts hi grandmother, who is also his sole guardian.
