We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God. -John Stott
Dearest Partners,
I cannot believe that it has been 3 years since I was in Kenya! It’s time to go back! It’s an incredible trip to firsthand see the difference we’ve made in Kenya the last 11+ years! And to see how much we can still do to leave a legacy for His kingdom with our brothers and sisters across the globe!
Visiting in person truly allows you to see the lives we are impacting and the work we’ve done and what’s still needed! But, the absolute best part will be the people you will meet. Kenyans are kind, generous and loving. And, I’ve always said that my trips to Kenya are selfish because of the way I feel when I’m there! I feel closer to God, closer to the best version of myself and my vision improves…I see the world more through God’s lens and not my won.
Many say they want to go but who actually will make it happen and join me? It’s an incredible opportunity to be the hands and feet, to walk out faith, to spread the gospel and to be a light in this world! Please reach out to me and we can go over it all and see if it’s right for you!
Until then, I have to do my best to share just glimpses of the difference we’re making through updates on this newsletter/blog.
Thank you for being a part of this mission. Alone we can do so little but together we create a ripple!
With Gratitude,
Christa Horst

PS: I’m looking at early 2027 but currently, I can be fairly flexible! The estimated cost is roughly $5,000 per person. It’s the flights that are the most expensive and the biggest variable. We have options to stay at the hotel that I typically stay at or at Bishop Titus Khamala’s newly remodeled home. The other expenses are our transportation, driver, food and any mission projects anyone joining me would like to pursue. Oh! And depending on those traveling, if time allows, we can finish with a safari or adventure of some sort!
