Wow! Just wow! In June, we hit a low we hadn’t ever hit before. And boy was it scary. For a brief moment (or two) I was afraid that this was it. That Give Amore had run its course and God had done all that He could through our small but mighty organization. But then I prayed. I asked God to confirm His plans for our ministry and boy did He. He reminded me of my commitment that I would be a willing vessel for His work in Kenya through Give Amore and that I would try my best and allow Him to do the rest. So, I made a plea on social media and through our newsletter. And I was blown away at the response!
The funny thing is, at first it was crickets. Near radio silence for a bit. But slowly and surely, donations started coming in from our amazing partners (on-going and new) and not only did we meet our immediate need but we exceeded it by $3,000 which allowed us to build back up a little and not need to struggle again this month with funds.
Now, to say we’re all set would be a major understatement. But I will not worry about tomorrow for it has enough worries of its own. Today, we have gratitude and thanksgiving for all our amazing donors who are truly the hands and feet of Jesus to our brothers and sisters across the globe!
