Six years ago, the Emulele community stood at a turning point. For generations, families here had walked miles under the scorching sun to fetch water often from unsafe sources. Illness was common, school attendance was low, and daily life revolved around the exhausting search for something as basic as clean water.Then came the well. With the support of generous donors and dedicated partners, a clean, safe water well was built right in the heart of Emulele. It wasn’t just a structure , it was a lifeline.
Today, the transformation is undeniable: Health has flourished — Waterborne diseases have dropped dramatically, and children are growing up healthier and stronger. Education has soared — With no need to spend hours fetching water, children — especially girls — are in school, learning and dreaming bigger. Economic growth has taken root — Families have more time for farming, small businesses, and community projects.
